Who we are

Riley Ventures LLC, d/b/a Acme Studio (“STFU,” “we,” “us”) provides the STFU iOS app and this website (together, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy describes how we process personal information collected through the Service, marketing pages, and support channels.

STFU is a digital habit / wellness product. It is not a medical device and is not intended to collect health-diagnosis data.

Personal information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the app, the site, subscriptions, and rewards. We do not need government IDs or raw payment-card numbers — Apple handles App Store checkout.

  • Account and contact data: email, display name, and any message you send to support, press, or partnerships.
  • Profile and preferences: selected apps/domains to block, schedules, bedtime settings, notification preferences.
  • Usage and session metadata: session start/end, lock events, streak counts, points balances, challenge participation. We treat this as product analytics, not medical information.
  • Device data: iOS version, device type, app version, language, crash logs, and coarse location derived from IP (city/region) if analytics are enabled. [PROCESSORS TO CONFIRM]
  • Transaction data: subscription status, product identifiers, and renewal state via RevenueCat / App Store. We do not store full payment card numbers.
  • Rewards and promotion data: points, bounty entries, and fulfillment details if you redeem a reward.
  • Website analytics and cookies: pages viewed, referrers, device/browser data, and approximate location via Google Analytics (GA4).

How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Deliver blocking, scheduling, streaks, and rewards features.
  • Process subscriptions and restore purchases through Apple / RevenueCat.
  • Communicate about the Service, security, and (with consent or as allowed) product updates.
  • Measure product quality, prevent abuse, and debug crashes.
  • Comply with law and enforce our Terms.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share information with processors who help us operate the Service, including Apple, RevenueCat, hosting, email, and analytics vendors. [PROCESSOR LIST TO CONFIRM].

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect users, or in a merger or sale of the business, subject to this policy’s commitments.

Retention

We keep account and rewards data for as long as your account is active, then for a limited period needed for backups, disputes, and legal obligations. [RETENTION SCHEDULE TO CONFIRM]. You may request deletion as described below.

Your rights (U.S. state privacy notices)

Depending on where you live (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and other comprehensive-privacy states), you may have the right to know, access, correct, delete, or port personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or certain profiling.

To exercise rights, email legal@stfu.bot from the address on your account. We will verify your request and will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights. Authorized-agent and appeal processes: [PROCESS TO CONFIRM].

We do not currently have actual knowledge that we sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.

Children and minors

The Service is built for adults. You must meet the age stated in the Terms (currently 17+ to download; 18+ for rewards programs unless we specify otherwise). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

Security and transfers

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No method of transmission is perfectly secure. If we store or process data outside your country, we will use appropriate transfer mechanisms. [TRANSFER / HOSTING REGION TO CONFIRM].

Updates and contact

We may update this policy. If changes are material, we will post a new effective date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Contact: legal@stfu.bot · Riley Ventures LLC, d/b/a Acme Studio · 1615 South Congress Avenue, Delray Beach, FL 33445.
